Cristian’s Experience with “HotRussianBrides”: Negative!

Hello Miss Krystyna,

I wanted to share with you the disappointing experience. I was active on the “hot russian brides” website (HRB)  till a week ago. My level of English is intermediate so I hope you can excuse me beforehand if this can become an inconvenience while you read the mail.

The story goes as follows: I contacted a lady who answered to the name of Masha at that website. We started our communication in January of this year and our conversation ran smoothly until last week. Over the last month I was writing to her practically every day until I ran out of mails on my subscription period.

In this gap of time I had available before getting the renewal of my monthly mail subscription, I decided to look for her in the social network vkontakte, the site that I have joined before entering hotrussianbrides on the early 2011, and at the end I could manage to find her profile through the search tools feature in there provided. I was very happy for finding her and sent her an e-mail with the help of Google translator in order to let her know that I wasn´t able to send more mails until a few days more.

I received no answer from her through the social network and kept receiving mails from her at the online dating website, but none of them touched the subject of me having found her at the social network.  I started to think that maybe she was not using vkontakte very often. When the monthly period renewal on the online dating site came again, I wrote a mail to her using a poetic passage of love. She had embedded this poetic passage of love as a presentation on her social network profile (it seemed to me like a motto or personal belief, so I wanted to surprise her).

On the answer she sent me it appeared to me like she had never heard of that passage before. Then I started to suspect if the person of the dating site was the same person as the one on vkontakte. I tried to reach her through VK.com again by uploading to her profile and image of her receiving one of the gifts I sent her for women´s day but nothing happened again.

After that, I decided to test the person of the online dating site by showing to him/her a picture of Masha and her friends that I had extracted from her profile at the social network and ask some questions about it. The person couldn’t answer to the information I have requested explaining to me that she would be expelled of the site by keeping in touch with me using means external to the site.

Although there is no information on the guidelines of the site that prohibit the use of social networks to users (vkontakte or facebook). For me it has been really difficult to accept cause I don´t trust this person who is talking to me now, but I don´t want to regret missing the chance of meeting her if she is real.

Here is her profile at both websites:

Her name is Masha Mizina

http://www.hotrussianbrides.com/mail-order-brides/profile-374058.aspx

http://vk.com/id42596211

After watching the videos of Tony Bochene in your blog and hearing about the term cash cows, I believe that Masha’s profiles fit the profile perfectly. Furthermore, I used the social network search tool and found other profiles; this one may seem dodgy or shady. I will leave the links below for the hotrussianbrides profile as well as the vk profile so you can check it for yourself.

The following profile correspond to Irinka Vasilenko and in her status she appeared MARRIED while still member of the dating site and listed in there as never been married:

Irinka Vasilenko

http://www.hotrussianbrides.com/mail-order-brides/profile-347377.aspx

http://vk.com/irinka_vasilek
The profile could not be found – 404 (Krystyna)

The following profile correspond to Anastasia Simonova and in her status appeared as In Love instead of actively searching or single. But I keep receiving letters from her on the online dating site. Of course her profile there must be fake and the website is using her data to capture the attention of more people

Anastasia Simonova (appeared as in love in VK social network)

http://vk.com/id9703897

My final question for you Miss Krystyna is what men should we do to get in touch in a reliable way with a Ukrainian women? It seems to me that I have spent and lost several months speaking to unknown people that may be even men. Perhaps, sending this letter to you would represent my first time communicating with a real Ukrainian woman.

Best Regards

Cristian

Hello Cristian,

I’m sorry that you became a victim of dating scam.
Russian dating expert Elena Petrova claims:

Online Dating Scams Affect 99 Percent Of Male Users Of Internet Personals, Millions Of Dollars Are Lost To Fake ‘Russian Women’
According to Elena, men using online dating sites regularly receive emails from ‘Russian women’ offering friendship, love and marriage. Most users simply disregard such emails but some people are curious and can be sucked in.

Elena warns, “99% of those emails are hoaxes designed by professional Internet criminals. All is fake — letters, photos, and feelings. The texts of the letters are prewritten and often sent and received by a database-driven computer script.”

“The only real thing in the whole story is the money that a man sends to someone in Russia. The people receiving the money often don’t know they are part of a fraud scheme; they simply get a small fee for each transfer they receive. Once someone reports the fraud and the name is black listed by wire transfer companies, the criminals find someone else to receive the money for them.”

Many scams run under dozens of identities and feature different sets of photos, which are often downloaded from the Internet. “Even my own photos were stolen from my site and used in a scam”, says Elena. “Most men cannot tell real Russian women from fake Russian brides. The wise thing to do is to never send money to anyone you haven’t met in person.”

I think it was your first experience with Russian and Ukrainian online dating. And you made a big mistake because you did not collect any information (reviews, experiences and comments of other users) about this dating company. Yesterday, I did a research on HotRussianBrides.com. I was really shocked: there are more than hunderds negative reviews on this site.

See here:

It is really very important to learn and read about the image of the company, reviews and experiences before you decide what International dating agency to use.

You lost money and time with this scam site. My advice is to be careful with International online dating services. The first sign of scam is asking for money. However, in your case scam is the dating agency. Furthermore, I am sure that Masha works for this agency as a model-translator-communicator. The photos on the HRB site cannot be stolen from VK.com because there are not these pics in her profile. In my opinion, the agency staff and the girls make make fake profiles on their site and develop a nice, promising communication with a male customer so that he buys more and more credits.

I have a question, namely: if a woman has serious intentions to find a husband abroad and become mother, would she install such a picture in her profile on an International dating site like this one:

I do not think so. These photos are suitable for erotic magazines, but not for online dating sites. As for me, such pictures provoke erotic fantasies, but not a desire to start a family and raise children. Serious women from Ukraine and Russia looking for a Western man for marriage won’t present themselves in this “cheap & slutty” way. You should know that before you contact such women on the dating site!!!! I guess that such women can be only professional pro-dates and scammers.

My next advice is be optimistic. I know it is not easy. Optimism is also important for success, isn’t it? Believe me – there are real women in Ukraine with serious intentions to meet a man for life and they are looking for you!

I have experienced that most Western men are scared about the fact of getting been scammed. This fear does not give them the opportunity to be happy about their communication with the Ukrainian woman who can be their match for life. I do not say that you do not need to be careful but you may not overplay this wariness!

Online dating is like offline: sometimes you have luck, sometimes you do not have luck… sometimes you meet a woman for life after just two days, sometimes you have to look for your match a few years. I have heard about negative and positive experiences. And I made bad and good online dating experience, as well.

I would recommend you to use a dating agency that has more positive reviews on the Internet like ElenasModels or A Foreign Affair. If you like more personal approach, try matchmaking agencies like Mordinson.  Sorry for my hard opinion but the name “Hot Russian Brides” sounds scammy already. I as Ukrainian woman would never register on such a site with such a name.

Greetings Christian How ironic! I to had conversation with Masha though she always ended her letters as Maria. I too searched for her on vk and found her really almost right away. I sent a add friends request and proceeded to continue to leave her letters on vk and the other site.

I could tell that she had not logged on vk for some time I thing the first week of May was the last time. I tried to give her hints for her to check her account on vk. She stated that she could not give any personal information or she would be kicked off of the site.

I apologized and we resumed our conversation. I still visit her on both sites. Funny thing is that I answer her letters that she has written on RLM on vk. She did log on to vk and completely changed her profile. She took all her pictures and all her music. But I could still view her page so I guess I am not blocked.

Is she real I think so I have seen her in many photos and once on cam. As I mentioned she was rather easy to find in vk. I have tried to find other models and its been a lot harder. I really feel that Masha and I are friends. Is she searching for a marriage partner? I don`t know. After reading your letter I still communicate with her. I just thought to let you know my experience and thank you for yours.

For anyone who may read this. HotRussianBrides may be a fun diversion, but is the equivalent of an Internet “Clip-Joint”. For those of you who don’t know what a clip joint is, it is a bar where the ladies are very friendly with you as long as you keep buying them watered down, overpriced drinks. As soon as the money runs out? All bets are off, no love and affection.

I think HRB is a great timewaster for casual conversation but an incredibly poor way of actually making a connection, getting to know someone and developing a relationship. Here is the reason why. If you read their terms and conditions they control your entire communication and relationship and have the right to edit your comments, etc. What kind of horse hockey is that? What good is it to email someone, when they start editing out content of letters? They don’t care about your relationship, just keeping the meter running.

In the interest of full disclosure, my Eastern European wife and I have been married for 10 years. Although we met on a major agency website, we were able to share our real contact information (physical addresses and phone numbers) and continued our correspondence offline. We did use a local agency in her country for translation purposes, but it was reasonably priced. My wife was able to make apartment arrangements for my visits, we never needed a translator, etc. They want to stay in the loop for everything. Letters, calls, flowers, cards, etc. Screw that.

Why the rant? As with many things I do not like the idea of men getting scammed out of money or receiving letters from their ladies, when they never know who they are really communicating with.

Are the girls real? I think so as you can find many of them on VK. Are you really communicating with the woman whose photos you are looking at? Who knows? HRB will never tell, but they are so full of BS that I would never trust them.

The only thing I would ever recommend, grudgingly, would be the next time Orchid Agency has one of their annual beauty contests, fly over and actually try to get to know some of their professional daters in the pageant. If you can strike up a real friendship, then perhaps the lady will clue you in on what is really going on.

    Cheers!

    Duncan

    Hello,

I would like to add my personal experience that I had with the web site known as Hot Russian Brides.

I was in contact with a lady on that service for a few months and decided to travel to Kiev to meet her. When I got there she seemed very nice and so we (the lady and our interpreter) went to a local shopping mall because I was told she wanted to buy a pair of shoes.

While she was shopping the interpreter and I spoke about different things but suddenly the sales girl came up to me with the check and the interpreter told me that I was supposed to pay it. I looked at the check and it was for three pairs of shoes at a total of about $700. I walked out of the shop and to the sidewalk outside. I was standing there trying to figure out how to catch a taxi and leave when the interpreter and the girl caught up to me. They started to ask me what was wrong, etc. I was very upset and I did not say anything except to say that I needed to get a cab to get back to my apartment.

So we all piled into a cab and got to about a block from my apartment and I paid the cab and got out. They got out also and were still asking me what was wrong at which point I told them that I had barely met her one hour ago so what kind of person would ask a total stranger to buy her $700 worth of shoes.

Long story short an argument started and ended with the interpreter yelling at me and insulting me. They then left for I don’t know where but good riddance.

When I got back to America I wrote to Hot Russian Brides and told them the story. They made some inquiries and wrote back some letters of apology but in the end nothing was done because I still see her profile on the web site.

    Avoid these people!

    That is my advice.

  4. Jeff says:

Here is some useful information about sites like HRB and RLM.

The site is not really the problem, they are actually easy to deal with and operate here out of the USA. The vast majority of the problems are the agencies they deal with in Ukraine, Russia, and the …stans.

Here are a few examples: I know these personally because I have been there many times and am very close with a few of the girls working there.

Some agencies hire good looking girls to fill profiles and sit and smile for web cams. The translators then send and reply to all letters. The girls are under contract with the agency and are deathly afraid of crossing the agency owners.

They get paid well, by Ukraine standards, much more than if they worked other jobs. Yes, many married women are on the site with profiles also.

The agencies make their money from the site by number of letters sent and replied to. They get paid the most for video chat and regular chat sessions also.

Now about gifts, when the ladies (the good looking ones) who are paid models essentially get photos taken with each of the different gifts that are available for sale. this way the agency never has to give the girls gifts and can keep the money from the site.

There are also good agencies, like Orchid Agency. They at least try to stay above boards, but it is a competitive business there. My fiancee for example is a professional model and was contracted by an agency there to participate in a beauty show and to post a profile for several months. She never goes on the site or even sees a single letter. She is not even in the country at the moment.

Basic story here is that the local agencies are 99% of the problem. The site may ask them to verify a girl, which is no problem because they have a copy of her passport. I know another model working in Kiev who asked me to help her file suit against the agency that continued to use her photos on a profile many years after she left the agency, she is happily married now.

Enough of the bad. It is no different than sites like match or friendfinder here.
Scam are everywhere, so be careful, but if you seek a Russian/Ukrainain bride there are many wonderful and beautiful women there.

IMHO Russian women are the most intelligent, elegant, passionate and beautiful women on the planet. They also have wonderful family values.

They are like American women from the 1950’s. They want a nice family, security, and to be loved.

    Good luck to you all

  5. Johannes says:

HotRussianBrides and RussianLoveMatch suck. Everything is in their favor and none in yours. They cut me off without giving me a reason why.

What a load of BS and no way to run a business.

Of course they are making so much money and are afraid that if people find out what a bad deal they are that the house of cards will tumble.

Use it for fun or to get your feet wet.

Otherwise there are much better ways of meeting really serious women online.

I think they are quick with the refund to avoid any problems with someone calling the Better Business Bureau on them.

    Hello,
Although I already know the answer… “it is another scam!!!”, I would like to hear your excuse for what I discovered yesterday when your ADMIN sent me a fake photo of my gift for ID 582322 that has supposed to have been delivered.
It is fake when you consider that the stupid scammers had already foolishly sent me a ‘Cropped’ version of the exact same photo (but of her face only) 3 months ago on the 19th of September 2013 (see attached image).
So I want to know what you are going to do about it?
    Regards

    Hello Ashley,
How can you cancel the order? It has already been delivered according to the last letter I got from Annchik ID: 582322.
    (Refer Attached image)
It is not so much ‘ABOUT THE GIFT’… (it was only $67) it is more about… ‘IS THE GIRL I HAVE BE CORRESPONDING WITH FOR OVER 3 MONTHS WHO SHE SAYS SHE IS (IS SHE THE GIRL IN THE PHOTOS?)’.
This is the issue I have.
Or is she (Annchik) someone hiding behind fake photos and is being paid to chat and correspond with me?
That is my question… I think it is too late with the Gift… (it is gone already).
I am more concerned about the $1000’s and time of I have wasted.
I am concern that I am being scammed (it has happened before).
    Kind Regards

Thanks very much for all you good work but really Ashley; I think it is too late (the damage is done).
Yes I can see that your companies’ video validation is the same girl that I have been corresponding with for the past three (3) months (such a beautiful girl), but the question still begs… WHY… WHY… WHY?
Why all the games of presenting me with a photo that was not the real photo of the real day she got my flowers?
It is very deceitful and rather disrespectful to treat me like I am some idiot who cannot see bullshit when I see it.
All these games… it is such a pity because I thought Annet was finally the one I had been searching for for so long.
It is too late, I have written to Annet and made my accusations and it is too late now.
I have 11 years of fulltime corresponding, 5 failed trips to Ukraine, over $100,000 spent (wasted) over 1 million words of correspondence and chatting written. Having read, and seriously contemplating the profiles of over 100,000 women.
Yes I am a romantic fool, so I have beaten you to that judgment!
I will also tell you that I am 51 year old Australian single father of 13 years raising my ‘A’ Grade super-intelligent daughter all on my own, whilst holding down a career as a Drafting Office Manager for Engineering companies until earlier in 2013 when the GFC finally caught-up with us. So I am (hopefully) no idiot… although I may be a fool.
Thank you but I think you should delete my account now. I’m done.
    Kind Regards
    Adam
P.S. can you please pass on my sincerest apologizes to Annet. If she is real then I have made a huge mistake but she should not have to pay for it. It is my problem not hers. It will sound better coming from you.

    Adam Black

    Thank you for your reply,
While we have requested that the gift be redelivered and photo confirmation uploaded to the site, as we have yet to receive a response from the lady’s local agency we have requested a refund for the gift purchase for $67.50. Generally, a bank will process a refund in 3 to 5 business days, but you will need to verify when the funds will be available.

Yes I am a romantic fool, so I have beaten you to that judgment.

    Hello Ashley,
So are you going to delete my account or not? You know I am not going to spend any more money here. You know that none of the photos of Annet you have shown to me, prove anything to me. Sure they prove that the girl I loved was the girl I was corresponding with. But none of the photos you sent me proves to me that she is not working for you… (for money).
At no time has anyone (you or Annet) provided me with any explanation of ‘HOW and WHY’ those two (2) photos of Annet with the flowers even exists and WHY where presented to me as some REAL presentation of the roses I bought her.
Okay you refunded me the $67 but what about the $2000 I have spent here wasting my time corresponding with Annet?
Of course I know you are not going to refund me this $2000. It is not about the money. It is about your attitude and intention.
I am devastated that this has happened (again!!!) and I am DONE!!!. Time and time again you Ukrainian’s prove to me that you are not the nice people and society you claim to be. You are all desperate and full of scams and criminal behavior.
I feel sorry for you and your culture!!!
So just delete my account and you can continue your games and scams uninterrupted.
You are a disgrace to humanity!!!

    Dear Sir,
In addition to our previous email in which we sent earlier this morning including screen shots from the lady’s most recent video stream, we wanted to follow up with your last email sent on 11/25/2013.
While we would be happy to permanently deactivate your account, our system indicates that you have logged into the site as recently as today (11/26/2013) at 1:04am EST. Having said that, would you like us to completely deactivate your account at this time?
In regards to your report regarding the lady, and as with any report we receive regarding any member of the site (male, female or agency) when we receive a report we investigate all details based on our own policies and procedures. Depending on our findings, we reserve the right to administer any consequences up to and including immediate removal from the site. In this case, after further investigation of the details of your report we requested that the gift purchase be delivered at that time (in which we provided a photo confirmation). Additionally, we refunded the amount for the gift delivery to you at the time and requested the lady appear on Live Video Stream (in which she did so on 11/25/2013). At this time, we are unable to find the lady in violation of our Terms, however should you have further specific evidence in which you believe the lady is in violation of our Terms we ask that you forward this information so that we may further investigate and take the appropriate steps based on our findings.
We also wanted to take a moment to address your concerns in which you stated, “But none of the photos you sent me proves to me that she is not working for you… (for money).” As previously discussed and as per our Terms of Use, we strictly prohibit members and users on our sites from being paid and we neither participate in, nor promote, or condone any such conduct. We require signed written and recorded video attestations from all foreign/non-American lady participants to emphasize and establish that we do not allow such conduct on our sites. Furthermore, we also prohibit these activities via written signed/executed agreements with all its overseas independent agencies/affiliates so that they too are forbidden from participating in any such conduct. We are very interested in enforcing our rules of participation. If you will cooperate and provide specific details of participants (agencies and/or ladies) that are not operating within the guidelines established in the Terms of Use, we will investigate and when warranted, warn, suspend, or deactivate as the situation requires.
Having said that, as you are a valued customer, we would like to offer you a one-time only 200 customer appreciation credit package in good faith only should you wish to continue your search on the site. Please let us know should you wish to accept this offer.
    Kind Regards,

    Hello Ashely,
I know you do not know me (how can you?). But I will provide you with a very QUICK snapshot of my 11 year experience of corresponding with and visiting Ukraine in the hope that you understand.
I have 11 years of fulltime corresponding, 5 failed trips to Ukraine, over $100,000 spent (wasted) over 1 million words of correspondence and chatting written. Having read, and seriously contemplating the profiles of over 100,000 women. Yes I am a romantic fool, (so I have beaten you to that judgment).
I will also inform you that I am 51 year old Australian single father of 13 years raising my ‘A’ Grade super-intelligent daughter all on my own, whilst holding down a career as a Drafting Office Manager for Engineering companies until earlier in 2013 when the GFC finally caught-up with us. I am also considered to be ‘Borderline Asperser’s Syndrome Type’ but this is just a ‘Label’ of naive people who do not really understand things they cannot understand. What I am really is an ‘Evolved Sagittarian Type’ (see here)…
    http://newagevillage.com/wiki/index.php/Sagittarius
So I am (hopefully) no idiot… (although I may be a fool).
Now the most important thing your clients need to understand is… The difference between ‘Websites’ and ‘Agencies’ (they are often separate businesses with their own separate owners and personal agendas).
The ‘Websites’ are just the portals where any ‘Agency’ can post their girls/women to help promote them to find love. Yet it is my 11 year experience that it is the ‘Agencies’ who are the biggest problem. I have suffered and been scammed and ripped-off by them many, many, many times. So if your ‘Website’ is truly innocent and determined to (try) and keep control of the criminal behavior of your affiliated ‘Agencies’ then all I can say is “Good luck with that!” Because you are obviously not succeeding… (you know they hate you?).
But ALLLLLL… (I am highlight the word… ALL) that I have used in the past 11 years run legitimate profiles. Yet buried deep and hidden amongst all this 1000′s of beautiful profiles are the ‘Money Girls’ (that is what I have come to call them). I know that some websites (eg. Uadreams) operate independently and require exclusivity from their Ukrainian female clients. The women are legally contracted to them and know these websites but they are usually a lot more expensive and do I really have any greater chance with them than with you?
These ‘Money Girls’ profiles are only on these websites for one (1) purpose… ‘To generate cash flow!’
I bet I could compile a list or YOUR websites ‘Money Girls’ and I would be highly accurate (75% correct).
The industry (both girls and their bosses) have had plenty of years of experience to master their deception.
Yes… this is a ‘Minefield’… but if one can find their way through this crazy minefield (or is it… ‘Mindfield’?). We are taking about love (hopefully TRUE LOVE) and this is one of the most complex, frustrating and realms in the human condition. We all want it, yet so few of us ever really find it. And you are not really helping.
Yes I have logged on to your site almost every day… after 11 years it has become a habit (and I know it). That is why I need you to delete my account because as long as I have it I will continue to look at this. But I am so tired of the bullshit here on these websites. The games… The illusions. How every woman/girl here wants to CHAT to me. And at $50 per hour it is both expensive and since losing Annet I have become aware that it is worthless process. We had such a strong connection. With my 11 years experience our connection and correspondence was flawless (faultless). Yet is all went to hell the second I got that photo of her with roses and I realized that she had sent me a (cropped) version of the exact same photo 2 month earlier. Since then I do not know what to believe. All your photos, explanations and video captures can be manufacture at any time (at will) if she is one of your employees (one of your ‘Money Girls’). It does not prove anything. If Annet had given me permission 6 weeks ago for her personal contact details then this may have never happened. But she avoided and made accuses all three (3) times I asked her. Now is has become part of my suspicion and understanding that I have been… ‘Played’. All I know is that there is no purpose continuing with such doubt and suspicion in my mind. I will never trust this process again. I have forgiven its digressions and deceit time and time again (in the past)… But I am done!!! I do not believe anything you say and/or do now.
It is your ‘Websites’… (via your affiliated ‘Agency’ in Kharkov)… ‘Photo Confirmation’ that started all this.
You can BLAME the ‘Lady’ (aka Annet) as much as you want. If she is your employee then there is no purpose talking any further about this. If she is innocent then it can only be your affiliated ‘Agency’ in Kharkov.
It is all a BIG MESS now… and it is TOO LATE… So just delete my account okay? It is the ONLY answer now.
    Goodbye!!!
    Sincerely and Truly
    Adam Black
    *********************************************************************************************
(AB NOTE: After this email… the very next day… Annet’s profile was gone. Even thought they told me they had interviewed her and she was not at fault. All her emails to me and all my emails to here were gone. It would appear I touch a nerve… the truth. And now I am going after them. I will show them how stubborn I am).

      Hi Adam.

If you are still reading comments on this site could you please let me know how you went? I would like to know and would like to create a group of Australian men who can pool their experiences and resources to take the fight up to the likes of HRB. About Ashley. She is full of shit just like the rest of them.

I hope you will contact me so we can put together some kind of group to stop or at least create an awareness among men like us to stop sites like this.

      Richard from Sydney.

I just need your advice, is uadreams a reliable site? Any others you can recommend?

  8. Abdul says:

Thank you very much for such information.i want to close my eyes and kiss your feet for getting every thing straight was very confused about all this.now you have connected all the dots for me, i see the clear picture.

  9. Richard says:

Get away from these sites and others like them. HRB is particularly nasty because the whole thing is based on lies motivated by greed. These sites use women as bait to suck in lonely Western men and don’t care about what they are doing to people along the way. Typically American behaviour. (One on the many reasons that the world can see that the USA was responsible for the GFC).

These site will bleed you dry until you wake up or you annoy them at which point they will terminate your membership. Making contact with the likes of Ashley is a total waste of time because just like the rest of them they tell you what you want to hear but don’t do anything even if you provide them with proof.

Your letters could just as well be written my Yuri instead of Yulia. How do you like the thought of some overweight, unshaven man writing you letters of affection? Think about it? If you look at your letters from a woman that you’ve been communicating with for a while you can see inconsistencies in writing style and expression. Don’t bother with contacting the dating site because they will just say that they are different translators. More B.S. These people can’t even sleep straight at night.

I’ve spent over 5 years on sites like this and been to Ukraine 2 times. Surprise!! No result. Why?? Because they’re scammers encouraged by scamming sites and PAID by the site.

The operators of these sites are nothing more than common thieves that prey on lonely men.

If you are communicating with women on these sites ask them to exchange private details. The excuses that you hear are wide and varied but remember that they consider the agency as their family and you as an income no matter what they say. Going private is of no benefit to them except the commission they get from the IR fee.

If they do exchange private details you will find that all of a sudden the mobile phone is lost or stolen and their computer blows up or they disappear from the site and come back with a different ID number so that your IR (Intimacy request that cost US$50 each time) can’t be used. All very co incidental and it seems to happen a lot. It is a load of B.S. to keep using the agency and keep getting an income. My latest experience like that on that site was with Viola who calls herself LovelyMerlin now ID number 596075.

If anyone reading this wants some more details of other women that I’ve found to be crooked on the HRB site then I am willing to give them details but the list is long.

I also advise anyone using any of these site to look at other site and you will find the same girl on many other sites. That should be a sign as to how genuine she really is. VeronikaLove is in with HRB. Just look at both sites and you will see a lot of girls (scammers) on both sites.

To Ariel. I had a similar thing happen to me too with shoes and clothes. It is all a well calculated and executed SCAM!! The translators and girls are in on it and they try everything in their power to suck as much money out of men as they can.

The advice I can give is don’t take these sites seriously and use them for entertainment only. YOU are paying for it so think carefully about what you are doing. AVOID chatting or going on cam because it is really slow and drops out while the meter keeps running. They are having computer problems. (Sure they are, NOT). Don’t send any gifts because it is a suck in!! They use the same flowers for many girls and it is the same with the soft toys. Have a good look at them if you are silly enough to send them. Flowers are wilted and sub standard and toys look used.

look. truth is. men are idiots. they hire, YES HIRE, very amazingly lovely women, who have one job. separate you from your money. They do not give a shit about you at all. the worst, is the orchid agency in odessa. Zhanna, Svetka, Ksusha {oksaanochka} she is the worst. she is a real professional online dating site prostitute. She can spin a lie and a smile like the best pro in the business. Her real name, so she says is Oksana Bulka. She is the queen of bs. now, yes I am a fool. i wasted over 200 thousand dollars on these fake women. not crying. I made my choices. just warning everyone though. .. they are pro’s. what’s in your wallet? Orchid agency, that’s who. and the dirextor ofthis agency, Tatyana.. she will claim to be a Christian… HA.she is about as Christian as satan himself. beware men.. beware

    • Craig says:

Hi Kevin, I would really like to talk to you about these girls. I have had a similar experience and want to compare experiences if possible?

    • Jack says:

Yes, us men are idiots. I will admit that sometimes some guys are successful on these sites, but this is very rare. I know someone who was, but he is the exception, not the rule. I have a friend who was led to believe that the lady he was seeing truthful in every aspect, shape and form with him and she was not. She was using him to get credits so she could get paid for chats, using him for free meals, using him to buy her a new iphone and even lingerie that he never saw nor will see her in amongst other things. I set up an account for myself and had my friends set up accounts as well to see what kind of emails I received and sure enough, the same emails and even thanksgiving card that she sent him to his personal email, she also sent to many other men, including myself, and my other friends. He was not special at all, though she made him believe he was. Such a crappy world we live in and her name is Svetka, or Svetlana or Svetangel on russian desire. The same goes for her friend Vika or Victoria. I will tell you that the above girls are in fact friends which means also Zhanna and Ksusha or Oksana are in the same companies and Oksana is actually listed on scam sites. I will be listing these two girls as well and if you want proof, feel free to reply to this thread or even contact me at airforce1982pilot@gmail.com and I will send you the letters she sent to everyone, the same with Viktoria as well. Beware Orchid Agency in Odessa in a complete scam, everything about the above is completely true! Do not get sucked into this, and besides what kind of reputable girl would put herself on a sex site like russian desire? Think about it! Look us USC 2257. Educate yourself if you do not believe, this is classified as a sex site! What respectable girl would put herself on one? Only after you for money, don’t be stupid. Run far away, again, I will and am willing to provide proof at any time. Hit me up. Beward of Tatyana too, she is not truthful at all and will try to manipulate you or get her workers too in order to separate you from your money, don’t be so stupid. All of the above is true and then some. Good luck and run from this place, no woman will ever want you to pay to talk to her if she is truly interested. Just run far away. Good luck. ~Jack

    • John Landry says:

Kevin, if you did lose that much you need to report it! You need to write up a report on all involved including the agency owner and all these girls, complete with all dollar amounts lost. You need to take your time and do this and ensure you’ve included all information. The more of you that report these instances, the more likely it will be investigated. Report it through the FTC, FBI IC3.

  11. Roland says:

hahaha! Orchid agency?? OMG! actually you have to be impressed with this agency. they took ordinary street prostitutes, and turned them into the best online money making scammers that the web has ever seen. and yes, we all know about this Oksana Bulka…I think she must hang out at the airport and just jump on the men as they depart the plane.. And i have met Tatyana P. from orchid.. gotta love her fake (rigged) miss divine beauty contest where, it is always a girl from her own orchid agency in odessa thats wins…LOL! what is best… i once saw them visit the Orphanage for a “photo shoot” supposedly they wanted it to look like they cared about the orphans…HAHAHA! OMG! it was so funny!. they all were dressed it tight jeans and the highest heels made.. stumleing around.. like prostitutes on ice..LOL! I think some of the little kids even were scared..LOL!.. got a chance that day to meet a man from America who started an organization to help the kids for real… thank God that at least they have someone real out there, and would be nice if the orphanage would not let these kids be exploited by the trash from that orchid agency!

Anyone communicating or been recently scammed in crimea. Started communicating with a lady in simferopol and want to know if she is scamming me or real.

  13. Jack says:

I have an additional comment. You know there are strength in numbers and somehow it would be a shame for these people and this agency to keep ripping people off. Would anyone be interested in helping and assisting with the management of a website that targets the Orchid Agency specifically? To warn /deter men and hopefully put them out of business for good? Thoughts? We have to do something and maybe with a little effort, we can target them as they have targeted us and warm as many men as possible to put them out of business? Thoughts? Look, they have what is called, “chat comtrollers”. they make about $200 a week, and they have one job.. take money from dumb ass men. Sad but true. Oksana Bulka is thier queen. Orchid agency in odessa is thier kingdom. Tatyana P is the owner and head bitch mom, who whores out the girls. If any man was scammed, and yes i was,.. I can only say,.. and say to myself also.. boo frickin hoo.. If we are that stupid to toss out our wallets to such fake trashy no moral loser, past thier primes bitches and whores from orchid agency,.. then we can only blame ourselves.. Whores will always be… and if it wasnt them that scammed us, then someone else would have. . They eventual will devolve back in to the street walking 4000 hryvnia a night actual put out prostitutes they were before orchid recruited them… and Oksana Bulka can lead them all straight to hell… lets all stop crying about it, and just laugh, because we might be out allot of money, but we dont have to look at ourselves in the mirror each day and see what these pathetic whores must surely see…….

      • Darren I completely agree with you! Oksana Bulka from Orchid Agency in Odessa, Ukraine is the worst! I talked with a man from Australia his name is Srinivas and he told me he was scammed by a girl from Orchid who is friends with your Oksana. His scammers name is Svetlana Stolyarova (Svitlana Stoliarova) who also works at the Orchid Agency in Odessa, Ukraine. She is on Romance Compass, Ukrainian Diamonds, Hotrussianbrides and the porno site Russian Desire. Her screen name is Svetangel but she also has an alias of Sveta Angel on youtube. At any rate, this Svetlana is a first class scammer, could give Oksana Bulka a run for her money I am sure! She scammed out of Srinivas jewelry, clothes, paid for her personal expenses and even paid for a trip to Paris, France for her. She is a master manipulator and easily made him feel like nothing. I found a posting where she made fun of him for not being able to afford to take her to some islands off of India. Why would she do this? To make him feel inadequate so he would leave her alone so she could move onto her next victim without him reporting her or saying anything to anyone else. Well after some digging of photos on facebook, and VK yes this Srinivas Chennupati paid for an entire trip for her to Paris and she tells everyone she won it from the Orchid Agency in a contest another man from the USA told me this. Gentlemen, hold onto your money and run away from these scammers! I hope in 2017 that between the FBI IC3, Interpol and the local law enforcement there, they will investigate Orchid Agency in Odessa, Ukraine and finally shut it down. Svetlana and Oksana both work for Tatyana P who owns the Orchid Agency. She is also a criminal who I have no doubt has scammed millions from men and if they look at the Russian Desire, Romance Compass, Hotrussianbrides and Ukrainian Diamonds back end for the girls on their servers you will see evidence of their scams. If you go on their VK, you can see the evidence as well. Bottom line if anyone wants any information on these girls feel free to contact me at landryj475@gmail.com and I’ll be more than happy to help answer questions or warn you about these Orchid Girls in Odessa! Run away and we’ll be waiting for Interpol to arrest these girls! There are at least 20 of these girls that I know of, possibly more and we are tracking them down, one at a time to expose them.

Gents, I have another Orchid Agency Scammer! Wow, they are coming out of the woodworks like fire ants in the outback for sure! Click on my name and it’ll direct you to the link, but in case it doesn’t another Orchid Agency Scammer that also works for Tatyana P. name is Maria Kress. Just google Maria Kress scammer or Maria Kress Romance Scammer, multiple sites pop up and she is posted as a scammer on VK and also has a facebook and Instagram sites. She scammed an Aussie man for nearly $100,000 and he has filed reports with ACORN (the Aussie equivalent of scam reporting for the FBI IC3 in the USA) & more importantly Interpol. However all of these organizations share information so they all already know about her and the others. Not much that I know about this one except Maria Kress works for the Orchid Agency In Odessa Ukraine for Tatyana P. and her profiles regularly say Moscow, Russia but she is in Odessa, Ukraine and it’s obvious that she is, geo-tagging on her pictures. Read the scam report and click on the link….gents these women are dangerous to your wallets! Bottom line, run away from the Orchid Agency and if you were scammed you need to file official reports to your country and Interpol (they have an office in Kiev) and if you don’t know google FBI IC3 as any person can file a report there from any country. Take your time, name all people involved, addresses, emails, telephone numbers! Another Orchid Scammer that we want to see locked up in the New Year! 2017 this will be our year to have scammers locked up and send a message to the industry! Sleep well and hope all you scammer whores sleep well over the holidays! Jails a waiting for you and you should be locked up for a long time!

Russianlovematch.com is a complete fake. I went to odessa twice. when you pick a profile on the site you are talking to a translater, never the real girl. the girl on the profile is only available for video chat and just sits there smiling and nodding while you tell her what your thinking about her. she knows very little about you. I formed a relationship with olgamiracle on the site and we wrote over 500 letters. every single letter was answered by the translator. you think your forming a friendship with the lady in the profile but its the translater on every letter. when you send gifts its only about money, they split the money and there are no gifts, its all staged. they send you a photo of the girl in profile with a gift to show you she got it but these photos were taken at an earlier time for anyone who sends a gift. olga bulgyna was the lady I fell in love with known as olgamiracle from odessa. I went to odessa twice, a total of 16 days. I met her with the translater and she was nice and we got along and thats why I came back a second time. I even took her to italy for 8 days with her son because I was really in love. it lasted 16 months but I find out now I never had a chance. believe me there is never a chance for marriage or a close relationship. the girls on the profiles are real but work for russian love match to be available for video chat and dates if the man visits the city. the agency helps you get an apartment and helps with questions and sets up meeting with the girl but the interpeter is always there. I didnt know it but it was the interpeter that knew my life story and my personal thoughts through the letters and not the girl in the profile. when you meet the lady in the profile she knows nothing about you so the interpeter controls the whole date. she speaks in russian to the girl translating what you say but they probably are making fun of you. the real girl from the profile probably has a boyfriend or husband and escorting you a few places is her job. she will never ever get serious with you. when you return home from odessa I wrote to olga to say how happy I felt and how nice she is but its the translater your really talking to. the real girl goes back to her life or meets another idiot man like me that travels 5000 miles to meet her. if you start talking love she will fade away because the real girl is not interested. the translater might keep you hooked for months with more letters to keep you paying and keep you thinking you have a chance with the real girl. I admit I got my heart broken. between my trips there I spent many hours of letters trying to build a real relationship with the girl I met in person but in reality I was gushing my heart to the heartless interpeter. these women are professional escorts or prostitutes without the sex. to be fair olga never promissed me a relationship or did the fake interpeter in the letters. the bottom line is you never write letters directly to the profile girl but its the translater that controls you. also any chats with no video is the translater you are chatting with. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,olga bulgyna, if thats your real name? you should be ashamed of yourself. I guess because there is no sex involved you think your not doing anything real bad. but your part of a network that breaks peoples hearts like mine. absolutely nothing about russianlovematch is real and no men will ever find happiness with these tyrant girls, they have no hearts.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,john, united states

the women in hotrussianbrides.com site are real and they work there.
In the site they censore words such as google, skype, whatsup, Emails, Phone Numbers, Internet links
    with xxxxxx.
So they control on your letters and the chats and can change the translation.
All they care in the site is that you will have a membership to read the letters and to buy credits to chat, this is their way to earn money from you.
If you want to meet a woman in Ukraine, then you need to have intimate request and pay 50$.
I met last month a woman from their site in Kiev.
The woman is the same that represented me in the site.
The same in her photos and in the online camera in the chat.
In Kiev an introduction agency called “grace family” arranged my meeting with a woman and took 20$ for this and also gave me a receipt and a Roshen chocolate box.
The meeting was in a fancy restaurant with great view of the city called “Matisse” in Kiev .
The woman didn’t need a translator and spoke English very well.
All she cared about is the dinner, and it was overpriced even for a Western man and cost 150$,
like the average monthly salary in Ukraine!
At the end of the meeting I had the woman Email, but she continue to stay in the site and insist to contact me only from there.
Why a woman with a high level in English needs this site, why she doesn’t write me directly.
Only after our meeting I realized, she earn money from this site for the online chats and the letters.
Of course there was no intimacy because it is a public place, and it looks like the woman is not interested in me, but in the benefits I can bring her, and not love for sure.
Don’t be suckers, only waste of time and money and a broken heart will come from the Ukrainian introduction sites.
It is a shame for the women and this country that it is a legitimate work there.

    • This is really good advice and don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions to dig deep down so you can understand everything. Ask them about previous relationships and get specifics. Ask if you can talk to their exes, it’s always good to get both sides of the story. Also when it comes to buying these women anything, I wouldn’t buy anything very expensive, because you’ll notice they’ll pray on your ego asking for bigger and bigger each and every time. Just stay away from it all together. If we didn’t provide them with such things, they wouldn’t have much interest in it and maybe more interest in an actual relationship. Buy them dinner and that’s it. It should only be about quality time, nothing more 🙂 And if you see them on the phone a lot ask, or make a joke about them talking to boyfriends and maybe get her to show you! If she’s not willing to show you, then she’s probably hiding something! Just stay away from this all together.

  19. Dave M says:

    Lady Krystyna

I think I might well have an issue with the review I’ve been reading here. The blog you have written on Ukrainian Dating Stories has some issues I’d very much like to address.

You’ve made some statements that I have a bit of a problem with. In your recommendations, you stated for your blog that Elena’s Models A Foreign Affair and the Mordinson Marriage Agency were all decent places in which to seek out your future wife in relative financial safety. On the flip side, you state that you’ve read many horrendous reports about Hot Russian Brides, a site that I am a member of.

Now, let me state clearly for the record that I am not employed by, nor am I being paid by this website. I am a paying member, one that hasn’t had the horrendous experiences other seem to have had.

Lady Krystyna, in your review on these sites you’ve posted to your Ukrainian Dating Stories blog you’ve made reference to a few complaints links you’ve provided links to for Hot Russian Brides, and a “similar” service. You’ve done this while recommending three other services; services you’ve given your stamp of approval to.

Where I have a problem, Lady Krystyna, in your Ukrainian Dating Stories blog is that when I ran a quick Google check on all three of them, a TON of complaints came up in regards to all of them; the worst going to the Mordinson service. It was discovered that the first glowing review I read was in exposed by a scam investigator as being written and submitted by the CEO, Michael Mordinson personally.

You can see for yourself if you search the “Ripoff Report” website review for Mordinson Marriage Agency. In fact, you can just Google any three of your recommended websites, and type “,complaints” beside the name, and read through the numerous complaints all three have listed on the web.

What I’d like to add to this is the following: every single dating service worldwide, Lady Krystyna, are going to have unhappy customers all too ready to spell out in virtual print for the globe to see, a listing of faults they had during their experience. What too few people take into account is the fact that most people that lodge such complaints, complaints that end up on sites like Ukrainian Dating Stories, tend to be borne of very high expectations. These expectations (all customers have a right to expect good service, always) are often times a result of the customer not looking before they leapt. In short; they signed up but never bothered to read the terms of service. They also often fail to aquatint themselves with what services are free, and those that are chargeable, and which bundles/specials are available to them, with included services vs. not included services.

Now, Lady Krystyna, in writing your column for Ukrainian Dating Stories, did you attempt to research the recommended companies? I can’t answer that. Only you can, Lady Krystyna.

I noticed that most of your listings for the negative reviews on Hot Russian Brides come from one web source. Tell me, Lady Krystyna, because I’m most confused on this point. Did you source out complaints as well as positive reviews for the companies you’ve taken the time to write negatively about, while doing the same for the companies you’ve put your name, Lady Krystyna on, as an official recommendation?

I’d really like some clarification on your Ukrainian Dating Stories blog, because, as I said, I’m confused by what I’m reading.

In your opinion, it’s a mistake, based upon your brief research, Lady Krystyna, to use the services of two websites, and I write this with the greatest respect; but its fine to use the services of three others. Lady Krystyna…even if those three recommendations you’ve given come up with as many, if not more complaints than the sites you’re encouraging people to use instead.

Could you please clarify for all of your readers of the Ukrainian Dating Stories blog Lady Krystyna, so we know how you came to these conclusions? I for one, would really be interested in knowing what you know. Seriously.

Now, Lady Krystyna, I’ve read the negative reviews for all five websites. I’ve also read positive reviews for all of them as well. I think it’s a fair statement for me to make in saying everyone has their own experiences, positive and negative. I also think it’s a safe bet to direct some of the unhappiness I’ve seen posted to various websites regarding all five companies you’ve mentioned; my esteemed Lady Krystyna, as high expectations not being met. It’s also safe to write here on your Ukrainian Dating Stories blog, Lady Krystyna, that many of these “victims” set unrealistic expectations when laying down their cash.

I cannot speak from first hand personal experience about Elena’s Models, A Foreign Affair or Mordinson Marriage Agency, or even about Russian Love Match. But I CAN write about what I DO know as an active, paying member of Hot Russian Brides.

Lady Krystyna. I’m a fat, hairy Canadian. I’m short, and I limp. I’m not exactly well off, and I am fifty years of age. I’m certainly no prize. So why is it I’m having a good time with this agency, while others are feeling like they’ve been rooked. Well, for one thing, I read the terms of service, THOROUGHLY. I did so in order to understand what I could expect.

Would it surprise you to learn that each and every single female member of this site is required to verify who she is?

I’m not making up stories here. It’s a stone hard fact!

All of these lovely Eastern European creatures must submit not only valid government photo ID, she is also required to submit a video clip, so they can match up the person to the identification. This is done in order to protect not only the men paying for the opportunity to get to know them, but for their protection as well.

Lady Krystyna, it’s also a fact that this site is designed to protect these women, period. There are a lot of mentally unbalanced people in this world, and Hot Russian Brides clearly is aware of that fact, thus the privacy and safety measures taken to protect both parties.

Your complaints on Ukrainian Dating Stories, where most of your negative references came from, well…I’ve read through them, and one thing is blatantly obvious: the men doing the complaining fail to realize that there is no perfect online dating solution.

If I was to make a membership tomorrow, with say, Match or Plenty of Fish, and didn’t bother to read the terms of service, let alone get familiar with what was free as opposed to what is going to cost me, it’s a pretty safe bet that I’m going to end up frustrated by something on these, or any site.

I’m also positively certain that if I didn’t use common sense when dealing with people I’ve never met on the web, I’m going to end up with some charlatan trying to scam me for my banking information, or to send her cash for her “unhappy” situation (fill in your own blanks here, Lady Krystyna), or end up taking a trip, just to discover I was a fool, because I didn’t look before I leapt.

Ukrainian Dating Stories …it’s a wonderful service. It truly is. And it’s just as wonderful that you, Lady Krystyna, have taken the time to send out your opinions to the world at large. What isn’t wonderful, and again, I say this with the greatest of respect, Lady Krystyna is your assessment of two websites; assessments that left them looking like total con jobs. The other half of my complaint, Lady Krystyna, is that you chose to write glowing words in regards to three other agencies without having a good close look at what people were truly saying about them. In saying that; you also didn’t take enough time with these complaints to consider WHERE the genesis of their issues came from. Instead, you saw negatives, and without investigating thoroughly, you took them as being gospel, and provided your readers with a less than balanced view of all five services.

Lady Krystyna, I admire your blogs. They’re very well written, informative, and in the tradition of Ukrainian Dating Stories, you’ve provided many great columns. But you’ve dropped the ball on this one, I’m afraid.

It’s very important to keep in mind that all dating websites, with few exceptions, are going to cost for certain services. They’re a business, and what they’re doing is not something that’s exclusive to two websites that you’ve taken the time to tell your readers are doing, while the other three are not. You’ve not mentioned a thing about costs in regards to the sites you positively wrote about, unless I’ve missed something when I read your work. If I’m wrong, please, by all means, correct me. I’m a big enough man to admit my mistakes, if I make them.

As well, it’s extremely important to keep this in perspective. NO website can scan out scammers vs. legitimate users at first glance. It’s simply not possible. Any webmaster would need more information to investigate than just a profile; unless that profile stated upfront that the member was on the take. These websites, all of them, require that a member lodge an official complaint in writing to their web complaints link/page. Without them, they cannot act on the profile in question.

There is also the issue with some agencies sending girls into these sites to milk the male members through gift requests, translators, etc.

I’m in Canada. She’s in the Ukraine. I can’t know if Beautiful Girls in East Europe modelling agency (I made up that name to demonstrate my point) sent that girl in, as she would have given the exact same id and video as the woman that’s actually looking for love. This is where you MUST ALWAYS trust your instincts guys. Thinking with the wrong head has been the destruction of many a man throughout history. Saying that; it doesn’t mean all women are con artists in these sites. I’d defy anyone to find a 100% scam free dating service, anywhere.

    It doesn’t exist, sadly.

So the point I’m trying to make, Lady Krystyna, is when men are making complaints to the community bulletin board here on Ukrainian Dating Stories, need to exercise caution when looking for love in these different online sources you’ve written about. As well, they need to keep it realistic.

I’ve described myself to you, Lady Krystyna, in this comment. Now, in giving you a vague mental picture of what I look like, do you think it’s reasonable for me to think that a 22 year old with a rocking rack and a seductive smile is going to look at me selflessly?

    NO…emphatically NO.

Here is what she’s likely got in her agenda when she’s talking to me, or anyone in my age group. She’s either got a “Daddy” complex (likes older men), is looking for someone to support her move to North America, financially and otherwise, or an online “Sugar” Daddy.

If a guy wants to increase his chances at love on the web, he needs to look at what reality truly is.

Unless you’re some rich older Hollywood actor (or rich, period), you really need to be realistic about the type of woman that’s going to truly want the best of him, not his “offerings”.

Would it surprise you to learn, Lady Krystyna, that Hot Russian Brides serves up women of ALL ages. It does. Being that I’m middle aged, fat and not living in a palatial mansion, my expectations are that a decent looking woman (read, not necessarily built like a porn star) might be more inclined to enjoy my company than a girl half her age. In fact, that older woman would be much better conversation, as she’s had life experiences that might be somewhat similar to my own.

Guys, seriously, if she looks like a younger Britney Spears, and you look like Bob Hoskins…do the math..LOL.

So, I’ve written quite a bit, but here’s just a touch more. By the way, thank you Lady Krystyna, for reading down this far.

There is not a site that I’ve ever encountered that is going to charge you thousands of dollars to chat with a girl. If you’re suddenly seeing examples of what many of the men have complained about in those community bulletin boards, the girl is very likely working with an agency, one that will charge, and charge again, so long as you keep feeding their financial wants.

Hot Russian Brides isn’t on the take. The agency that submitted this lady as an employed member to the website, one that is beyond the control of Hot Russian Brides, which is based in the United States, is.

They’re called gut feelings, and you REALLY need to listen to them when dealing with unknowns, such as the good intentions she seems to be lacking in.

For all the negative stuff I’ve read about these Eastern Europe dating and marriage sites, I’ve seen many many positives as well. And, for the most part, the negatives come from guys that leapt before they looked, or didn’t listen to their instincts and move on to other persons. The positives almost always come from guys that knew what they were paying for up front, because they took the time to educate themselves; knowing to keep their expectations realistic.

So, Lady Krystyna. I’m a fan of your work here. I really am. You seem to care about your readers, and are taking steps to provide them with decent information.

I just really wish you’d done a more balanced report on all of the websites before posting your opinions to posterity.

Thank you for making your thoughts available. It’s your opinion, one I do not share, as I’ve personally seen evidence to the contrary on all fronts in regards to these online dating services.

Have a wonderful day, Lady Krystyna.

  20. Myles says:

    Girls on this site are verified by passport . How could anyone argue that they are fake? I think the problem with a lot of people that use the site assume the ladies are just going to be servant robots. Do you really think the site could exist if they where doing all the things that they are being accused of? Here are some tips for making a relationship last next time;

When I figured out this wasn’t the right approach to a relationship, I had already been in two failed ones. “Failed” may not be the right word, because I don’t regret them and I’m still friends with both of my exes, but these relationships were based on needs, from both partners.

After the second relationship, I was single for a long time, and that’s when I started working on myself.

When I started to see some changes in myself and in my life, I felt the desire to have a girlfriend again. I mentioned this to my mentor, and he said, “It’s not the girlfriend you want; it’s what you think she can give you.”

This was a real eye opener for me.

I realized that this desire was my ego telling me there was something missing in my life and that I needed to find someone else to fill this gap for me. I didn’t have a person in mind yet, but I was already being unfair to her by expecting so much of her. I was demanding love.

    • Maybe, maybe not. Just be careful of all of the manipulation. If a woman doesn’t make you a priority and isn’t proud to display your pictures on her social media and such, then well she’s probably just stringing you a long. Someday she will settle down, I am certain of it as most people usually do, but there will be a long list of men left in the dust with hearts broken. Stay away from it all together.

  21. Justin Landry says:

So All I am going to say on here is be very careful with all of this! I would not approach any of these sites as dating sites. They are not, it’s strictly for entertainment purposes only. The girls on these sites want to only get your money! They are great manipulator’s who goal is to separate you from your money, because they know most will never get off their computer and visit.

Those that do, don’t have enough time or money or both to visit 3-4 a years to actually start and keep a relationship going. Once a relationship is going, you don’t really matter because they are seeing and maybe even dating many men, to include many locally and because you are not married, they don’t have to tell you, but will deceive you (and they are great at this) at making you think that you are exclusive when you are not. They say and will date anyone up until they are engaged. I know some people who know people where engagements were falsified or broken all together. These girls and agencies are unscrupulous. Watch your heart and your pocket book.

You will be able to make more money, but the time wasted is gone forever. It’s too bad these girls do this, but what can you do. These girls will lie and manipulate you until you either go crazy or just altogether leave and they are fine with this as they only want your money! Another thing I noticed is that David’s site is really good and should be expended to a larger website that specifically targets the agencies and girls in them through unhappy user experiences.

Again, if you’ve been around this world, many of these girls have been on these sites for 6 or more years. They will always say that the guy cheated on them with another girl or was not serious or did something else. They don’t take blame for the fact that they destroyed or sabotaged the relationship on purpose as they were either bored with it or money wise it was not paying off or maybe even becoming a liability because they were getting sly to how these sites and agencies all operate.

No girl will fully commit to you ever, and if you look around and see only a very small percentage like less than 1% are successful because guys don’t go there, and well girls play games, trying to see what’s wrong with you until eventually you crack! Every person has their line and they have theirs as well. Deception and manipulation is commonplace within the industry. There are certain things they cannot say, but there are ways for them to insinuate that you need to buy them things or flowers, which they most like split the cash with the agency and send you a picture they’ve used dozens of times.

I would say research the gilrls online on VK and you will notice that they are always on computers but no pictures of the guys they are dating. No one! This is for a reason so you think you have a chance with them, so you don’t know which or how many guys they are dating or using. It’s a matter of perspective and maybe yes you will become one of those 1 percent, but it’s very rare. Treat it as entertainment and only this. If a girl is really serious about you, you won’t have to pay to talk to her which is what they want you to do.

A few years ago I met a girl whom was also on a porn site, stripping on camera for men, and when not doing this online on the site at the same time. I just happened to catch this one time and she confessed that she does both to make money, and at the same time her boyfriend was in the room with her, got up and saw his body off to the side. Make no mistake, these girls are gaming you and trying to get your money.

Nothing more. You’re better off just not participating, but it’s a free country and your choice, but an expensive one for sure! Good luck!

So I see a lot of really bad experiences and out of which comes some really great advice which should be the focus of this forum. A lot here has been covered and nearly all of it is great advice, warnings to heed as I too have some personal experience with all of this. First and foremost I will say that yesterday after having an 18 month relationship with a girl (I use this term because she was not a woman – only girls act like this) whom I had known prior for 4 years, so nearly a total of 6 years. It shows you, that you never truly know someone’s motives and I’m not saying she is a bad person or evil person, because I know she’s not! There is a lot of good in her, really she is an exceptional catch, in every way but one…..she never publicly acknowledged our relationship for whatever reason and I just got tired of it. I am pretty sure, she did this to “keep her options open” as this seems like it was the only thing she cared about, at least more than our relationship. And it’ partly because of her job (yes she works at an agency) and it’s partly because she wanted to see what else is out there, and that would have been fine, if I had known about it, but I did not. She made me feel as if we were exclusive and well with exclusivity comes public recognition of your relationship, displaying pictures on social media sites, etc. to say hey, I’m in a relation with this man or woman and we’re enjoying it. I noticed on my last visit that when we kissed it was just something she did, it was devoid of all emotion which made me wonder, because everything else was just awesome. It actually made me do some looking around and well eventually found some pictures of her with another man, and discovered she was definitely chatting with other men, encouraging them to come and visit her, invited one guy to go there and live with her and such! Of course with me thinking I was with her and in a committed and exclusive relationship you can imagine how this made me feel and most men would just go bonkers over this! Well, I did for sure, I confronted her with this and was told, well we are together, I am with you, but I am not engaged and you are not my husband so I don’t have to tell you what I do and until I am engaged I am can keep searching. Well, ok, maybe she can, but if she wanted to do this, then she should have told me as it would have altered and changed my behavior to include the gifts I was buying her (because I loved her and wanted to make her happy because we were “together”). I would have opted not to do nearly as much if this were the case and definitely not visit as much which is probably why she wanted to keep this hidden. In the end, it didn’t work out favorably as it created trust issues (obviously) and basically told me that she felt she could do whatever she wanted because of this (yes she’s a very pretty girl), but all her relationships have ended up like this…..because she doesn’t create an environment in which a relationship can thrive in and until she does, she will never have a successful relationship. After doing some soul searching and looking at psychology websites (reputable ones) I discovered that this type of behavior is actually consider a form of abuse (albeit a very non agressive one). If you are in a relationship and spend the time, energy, resources on that all psychologists will tell you, that yes you have a right to be publicly recognized as a valued human being as being part of that relationship. When someone hides you in a relationship, it’s a sign that they truly don’t value you as a human being and are just stringing you along, and keeping you as an option until either something better comes along or they are completely sure it’s going to work out with you. This is a death sentence for any relationship from Day 1. ANd it actually causes all parties involved more time, energy, and heart ache, then just committing to one person, acknowledging the relationship (to build a climate of trust) and see where things go. A healthy person will do this, someone who is immature or maybe just selfish won’t do this. Guys, what I learned is bottom line….value yourselves! If someone wants to keep you a hidden secret from all their friends and social media that should be a huge red flag! Now if you discuss and both agree to keep it hidden that is different……value yourselves! Don’t tolerate this behavior, stand up for yourselves and walk away if this happens. At the end after all of this happened and after we broke up, she told me she really wanted to marry me? Maybe it was true, maybe it wasn’t…..I will probably never know……but I do know one thing, despite all of this I forgave her because I did see good in her and hope she goes where she wants in life. I think that for whatever reason we were brought together to educate each other and we both did. Maybe someday we can be friends or maybe after all of this we’ll realize….yea, we both did some stupid things, lets forgive and move on….who knows…..but always value yourself and fight for your rights! Cheers and hit me up if you want to know anything and my two cents on all of this. Take care and good luck!

  23. If you’ve fallen pray to a romance scam, you need to report it! The bottom line is the more of you men that report this in great detail, the more likely it will be investigated and possibly brought for prosecution. They will only go after scammers once it reaches the 6 figure area…..and they can’t figure that out if you don’t report it. Take your time, provide details, addresses, phone numbers, names of people involved, all involved and dollar amounts broken down, so that they can make a decision. Take your time when doing this. You can report these scams and scammers through FTC, FBI IC3.

Wow, where to begin? I have had my own bad experiences on Ukrainian/Russian dating sites, and if you are even a little observant, tell-tale signs of fakery start to emerge. If you ever get that “funny feeling,” or the bristles on the back of your neck start tingling, then you should RUN. Instinct is your best friend. My personal experience is that there are a few gems among the trolls, but they are VERY hard to find, and you may spend a lot of time and heartache getting there.

Here’s a tip. There is only ONE Website where I have ever met women who I learned to be real, and that is http://online-dating-ukraine.com. What is the first clue? THE SITE HAD NO CHAT OR VIDEO FUNCTION. As a result, the traditional tool that scam sites have for generating cash is completely unavailable. So there’s no one bugging you to “chat” all of the time — a sure sign of someone generating income — and no one asking for video “face time, the biggest money maker of all. Now think about it: When watching a video produced out of an agency or website, the only thing you know for certain is that the girl in front of you is in front of you LOL. Is she who you THINK she is? You’ll never know.

How online-dating-ukraine.com makes its money, of course, is through the exchange of letters. Like a true meat market, the Site assigns a price for opening up a letter sent by a woman, although her first letter (be it an introduction or come-on) is free. There is no cost for you to SEND a letter, but you’re not exactly going to start a relationship that way. I met one girl there 2.5 years ago, and we are still friends. She happily went off-Site with me using personal email, and she never once has asked me for anything, or for a penny. No sudden “operations,” no sick Mother, no nothing. We use Skype, although her English is crappy. At least this way, however, we get to see a breathing entity, and we have POL (“proof of life”). Again, precisely because she never asked, one time I mailed her a UCLA sweatshirt and a teddy bear. The address was a street address, not an “agency” address. A few weeks later, I got a photo by email of my girl wearing my sweatshirt, holding the bear. POL. She is gorgeous by the way
(I don’t scare young children, at least), and yes, we have often talked about meeting, but it has never come together. If she told me tomorrow that she had met a local man, I would dance at her wedding. I consider her a friend.

The point is, if a woman you meet online is willing to go to personal email with you, there really is no reason for great suspicion. If they share a mobile number with you, even better, because that gives you SKYPE, and various apps like Viber or WhatsApp. There may be 1 decent girl for every 100 scammers, but at least know that some are real.

Now, as for Oksana Bulka. I have met her. She started out by asking me to edit a cover letter for an application to a fashion university in Amsterdam. I write for a living, so no big. She told me all about Miss Divine, and you can see her, and the whole show, on YouTube. It is hoakier that all shit, but near the end, there’s Oksana, long flowing black hair, white dress, killer body, giving a fairly lengthy speech. She told me she does fashion work for them, and it was clear that she had some sort of role. Get this: They run it as a “beauty pageant,” and then the winner is picked out of a hat. I almost peed myself. The last 6 contestants walked up to be introduced, accompanied by the music of the original “Star Wars.” I shit thee not.

By the way, last year’s winner of Miss Divine is so eye-crossingly beautiful — even by normal Slavic standards — that you have to look away. She actually recently got on online-dating-ukraine.com, so she might very well be a scammer, given her association with Orchid and this nutty Miss Divine Pageant. Inna is also on http://www.alena-marriage-agency.com/WiseInna111.html — that’s her actual post — and YOU tell ME that you wouldn’t crawl on broken glass on your bare tummy to just about ANYWHERE she asks LOL Brown hair, blue eyes, give me a break. Just please don’t steal my wallet, right? And, get this: She is looking for men between the ages of 25-47 (she’s 21), so she just might be real. Look for the clues, guys. That age range is perfectly appropriate for a youngish Slavic girl who knows her worth, and wants a family. No fat 72 year olds for this one!

Ok, more on Oksana Bulka. Please hear me say that I believe every single word of complaint against her, it’s just that my experience is so radically different. So right, she wrote me about 20 letters before I responded. I was on that Site just for translations with one friend, not to “fish.” Each letter, though, was funky, fun, clever and the photos attached ranged from “homey” to pretty, but NEVER any underwear or bikinis. Shots you could put on your desk. She never asked for money, or gifts of any kind.

Now get this: She then moved to Amsterdam, just like she said she was going to do. Believe me, I have seen enough recent photos — including one with her class in front of the very school that I helped her write to — and they were taken in Amsterdam. I looked up the school, it’s legit. And she continues to write, never says anything close to inappropriate, and even chided me once when I used the word “tits” ROFL. She tells me she is in a 2 year program, and yet has never said, oh darling, come to stay with me in Amsterdam . . . .

So, only in my experience, Oksana either (1) is playing a REALLY “long con,” which is possible, (2) actually likes me (who cares, right?), or (3) has gone straight. I am not telling you any of this to contradict what others have said, or to try and “reform” her image, only to report that these stories are nothing if not strange. Who knows?

All I can say is, if you think you are onto someone real, get her off the site. Tell her what I do: “Let’s talk like big boys and girls do in the 21st Century.” No email, no go. Get a street address, and use it. SKYPE. She needs to be excited to use all of these tools, or else it’s a huge red flag. Most Ukrainian and Russian women are VERY sophisticated, more than some of you might expect, so don’t take “no” for an answer. And good luck. Write me if you need any help or details. Cheers
