Brides Made in Ukraine: Fail to do the RIGHT THING
I wanted to make a comment regarding Brides Made in Ukraine. I want to make mention that I had approached Stephen & Elena to become affiliates with my own mission goal of offering a legitimate way for men to find a Ukraine bride, teaming with honorable people and organizations who share my vision for a corrupt-free dating venue. The aftermath of how they treated a friend and referral led me to dissolve any relationship I had with them. I can only share observations, as I clearly know there are two sides to every story. I am a firm believer in quality customer service and if you are dealing with matters of the heart, every situation is different and has to be approached so.
Brides Made in Ukraine (BMIU) was going to offer a Reverse Romance tour in NYC in May (it never happened) and I had referred a friend of mine to their site, asking them to help him out. My friend is not some novice to online dating and of course had many questions regarding how they operated and the services they provided. I had alerted them to that fact they might find him “high maintenance“. It seems the only way to communicate with Brides Made in Ukraine is by their Skype phone and they reply when they decide to reply which is just poor customer service at best. There is NO regular phone and no business address listing. They have only a Gmail account.
The response time and attention to questions asked was severely lacking, according to my friend. From what I understand there was a huge communication disconnect between my friend and BMIU, which of course led to frustrations having to ask the same questions multiple times and days to get the answer. During the course of it all, one girl was informed to have an interest in my friend and to come find out she was actually already in the USA which was a big surprise to each of us as she was being touted in the Reverse Tour as coming from Ukraine, not that she was already here.
That certainly changed the dynamics for my friend and he was interested to get her direct contact details. This is where the relations of BMIU and my friend quickly soured. BMIU, even though they did not go through the Reverse Romance tour that was at a cost of $1200 to attend (and meet the girl), still wanted my friend to pay that fee less a courtesy discount and REFUSED to entertain at all his request just to purchase from them at a fair price her contact information since she had already agreed with interest in him and she was the ONLY woman who expressed interest who was initially in the Romance tour of 4-5 women..
As an affiliate partner at the time, I reached out on behalf of my friend and implored on BMIU to act in a courteous and realistic way to generate good will and basically do the right thing and just offer the contact details so the two could communicate. BMIU rejected my attempts and based on the morality of their actions, I had to part ways. They took such as a threat against them it seems.
My friend happens to be a Type I Diabetic for one and the extreme stress in all his attempts and virtually BEGGING to BMIU for their help and assistance drove him to sickness and being bed-ridden for days. BMIU had been charged with the “heart emotions” of a client and made no moralistic attempt at all to provide quality customer care or act in a humane effort to help resolve this situation, proving to me their only goal is to make as much money off men as possible and NOT assist in the true introduction and development of relations as they claim.
I have been involved with online dating for over 17 years, 6 of which I was married to a Belarusian. My bloodline actually dates back to the first Czar of Russia, Prince Rurik of Kiev. I am a book author and have helped men and women in their search, educating them to proper ways of online dating. The online dating world is highly corrupt and I have made it a mission to try and offer men a genuine outlet to find a foreign bride without facing all the problems and issues I have seen and sadly experienced. I shared a wealth of knowledge with BMIU to help their website as I felt they were on the same page as I was in helping others. My knowledge was taken but not used it seems when it comes to actually providing the service men deserve.
I have no ill will against BMIU, it is their operation, but I do find how they treated my friend simply abhorrent and I have told them I will always expose such for men to see and know. As a website owner as well, I value any male or female client I have. Given the circumstances of a FAILED Romance Tour, I would have taken the generous offer of $200 by my friend for the girl’s contact and wish them the best and any assistance possible to further their chances to success. That BMIU rejected and refused to even consider should tell any potential client of their integrity and paying their $1200 membership fee may need more deeper consideration for what they may encounter.
Surely it is their business to run as they see fit, but with such attitudes and actions taken against clients, I cannot see how they will remain in business and certainly favor enough men for what I understand is a Fall Reverse Romance tour in Florida involving a few dozen women when they could not do one with just 4-5. The cost to underwrite such a venture is substantial and I do not see how they achieve such. I am saddened that our partnership failed but based on what has happened, it was best that it did. My name and integrity is all I have and I will always strive to help those who search for love.Anyone who has interest may contact me at email@example.com and I will put them in touch with my friend for his full accounting and treatment by BMIU.
