Classic Ukrainian Dating Scam: “Hi my new friend”

A user of Elena’s Models, of the most popular and respectful International dating agencies, got a message from one beautiful Ukrainian girl. It hit the man kind of odd for a few reasons. First, the lady was a new girl on the dating site and sent the message first. Moreover, she left a personal e-mail to contact her. Also, on her profile, the Ukrainian woman says that she was only looking for men up to 40. But the man is at least ten years older than that (but it can happen – love knows no age barriers :)).

So what the heck, the man dashed off a quick reply letter, to her personal e-mail. One day later, he received a response from her. He was going to write more back, but decided (for some unknown reason) to go check her profile again.

Apparently, she had tried to pull something on somebody, and Elena’s suspended her profile. Additionally, the same message that was sent to the man (as he found out), was also sent by someone who calls themselves Tatyana from Kazan.

The example of the letter is below:

As you see, this message is classic Ukrainian dating scam. The scammers send the same message to different Western men from Ukrainian and Russian women with different names. The “women for marriage” will correspond with you and sooner or later ask for money and then they say goodbye.

The scammers are very organized. Russian Brides expert Elena Petrova says Online Dating Scams Affect 99% Of Male Users Of Internet Personals, Millions Of Dollars Are Lost To Fake ‘Russian Women’. Everything is a fake – messages, photos, and feelings.
