LoveMe.com Review 2026: Legit Dating Agency or Waste of Money?

Here’s something I’ve learned after more than a decade reviewing international dating sites: a beautiful website means nothing if it never gets you closer to a real meeting.

I’m Krystyna, and I write about international dating for a living. I test dating sites, study their business models, talk to men using them, and look beyond attractive profiles and romantic promises.

Today, I’m taking a fresh look at LoveMe.com, also known as A Foreign Affair. I chose LoveMe because it promises something many dating sites don’t: real introductions, matchmaking, singles tours, and opportunities to meet women face to face.

That sounds promising, but I don’t recommend agencies based on promises.

In this review, I’ll examine LoveMe’s women, costs, communication, tours, safety, and matchmaking services. Most importantly, I want to answer one question: Does LoveMe genuinely help men build real relationships, or simply give them more ways to spend money searching?

Reasons Why You Can Trust Us

Who’s Really Behind LoveMe.com?

When I review an international dating agency, I want to know who built it and whether there are real people behind the business. LoveMe.com, also known as A Foreign Affair, has been around much longer than most international dating platforms operating today.

The company was founded in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1995 by John Adams, Ron Redburn, and Kenneth Agee. What I find particularly interesting is that the founders were single men themselves. All three eventually married women they met through the international dating world they were building.

LoveMe.com was registered in 1996, when online dating was still very new. Over the following decades, A Foreign Affair expanded from introductions into international matchmaking, correspondence, personal meetings, and its well-known singles tours.

Registration remains free, so men can create a profile and browse women before deciding whether to pay. Communication, matchmaking, tours, and additional services come with separate costs.

The company has also received considerable media attention over the years. A Foreign Affair and its founders have appeared in major American and international television programs, newspapers, magazines, and documentaries.

For me, this history matters. It does not prove LoveMe is the right agency for you, but at least we are dealing with an established company that has a long, traceable history.

Advantages and Disadvantages of LoveMe.com

What Can You Actually Do on LoveMe.com?

LoveMe.com is quite different from the typical dating app. You are not simply creating a profile, swiping through women, and hoping someone replies. A Foreign Affair combines online dating with matchmaking, travel, introductions, translation, and other services designed for international relationships.

Here are the main services you will come across:

What interests me most isn’t the number of services LoveMe offers. It’s whether those services actually move you toward a real meeting. That’s the standard I use when judging international dating agencies.

Can I Try LoveMe.com for Free?

Yes. Creating an account on LoveMe.com is free. You can register, complete your profile, search the database, and browse women’s profiles without paying upfront.

The paid part begins when you use LoveMe’s communication and agency services. Express Mail is charged per message, phone and video calls have separate fees, and services such as gift delivery are also individually priced. Singles tours, personal introductions, and the Executive Plan have their own costs.

So, I would describe LoveMe as free to join and browse, but pay-as-you-go once you start using its services. This is important to understand before registering.

What You’ll Actually Pay to Use LoveMe.com

LoveMe.com is free to join and browse, but it is not an unlimited dating site where one monthly subscription covers everything. Most communication and additional services are charged separately, so your final cost depends heavily on how actively you use the platform.

  • Platinum Membership: $95 one-time activation fee, followed by $29.95 per month. Platinum mainly gives you discounted rates on other LoveMe services rather than unlimited communication.
  • Express Mail: Regular members pay $9.99 per letter, while Platinum members pay $7.49. Translation is included, but adding a photo costs another $3.50.
  • Three-Way Phone Translation: Regular members pay $5.99 per minute. Platinum members pay $3.99 per minute, with a four-minute minimum.
  • Profile Videos: Platinum members can watch available women’s profile videos without paying separately for each one.
  • Singles Tours: LoveMe offers international singles tours with separate pricing depending on the destination and package. There is also an Open Tour Reservation option, currently requiring a $475 deposit toward a future tour.
  • Account Credits: Depositing larger amounts into your account can qualify you for bonus credit, with bonuses reaching up to 10%.
  • Additional Services: Personal introductions, travel arrangements, gift delivery, translation, and Executive Plan services can add considerably more to your total spending.

This is where I think men need to be careful. The $29.95 monthly membership makes LoveMe look inexpensive at first, but that is not the real cost of actively using the service. Letters and translated calls can add up surprisingly quickly, especially if you are communicating with several women.

Personally, I would use paid communication with one purpose: getting closer to a video call and eventually a real meeting.

If you are spending hundreds of dollars exchanging letters for months without making any real progress, I would stop and reconsider where your money is going.

What Are the Women’s Profiles Like on LoveMe.com?

I spent some time going through the women’s database, and the first thing you notice is its size. LoveMe currently displays more than 23,000 active female profiles. The selection is international, with women from Ukraine and other European countries, as well as Colombia, Peru, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Vietnam, and several other countries.

The age range is also broad. You can search specifically by age instead of scrolling through women who simply don’t fit what you’re looking for. The advanced search is actually more detailed than I expected. You can filter by country or city, height, weight, children, English level, smoking, drinking, religion, interests, and even keywords.

The profiles themselves contain photos and personal information, and some women also have videos. LoveMe states that its profiles are verified, and women joining A Foreign Affair go through a registration process rather than simply creating an anonymous profile within seconds.

Do all the profiles look convincing to me? Mostly yes, but I would never treat profile verification as proof of romantic intentions. Some photos look professionally produced, and naturally that makes the database feel more like a traditional marriage agency than Tinder.

My rule remains the same here. A verified profile is only the beginning. I would still move toward phone or video communication and, eventually, a real meeting before becoming emotionally or financially invested.

Registration Process at LoveMe.com

Registration on LoveMe.com is straightforward and free. You start by entering basic information such as your name, email address, date of birth, and the type of women you are interested in meeting. You’ll also create a username and password for your account.

Once registered, you can build your profile with more personal details. LoveMe asks about things like your appearance, occupation, marital status, children, interests, and what you are looking for in a partner. You can also upload photos and write a short introduction about yourself.

You don’t need to purchase Platinum Membership just to register or browse women. That gives you time to explore the database before spending anything.

I would actually complete your profile properly before contacting anyone. A half-empty profile asking serious women for attention doesn’t make much sense. Add recent photos and write something specific about yourself. You are evaluating the women, but remember that they are evaluating you too.

What Is LoveMe.com Like to Use?

LoveMe.com feels very different from modern dating apps. The website is functional, but the design honestly looks dated. There are lots of menus, links, banners, and information competing for your attention. If you are used to Tinder-style simplicity, LoveMe can feel overwhelming at first.

The good news is that the search system is surprisingly detailed. You can filter women by age, height, location, children, English ability, smoking, drinking, religion, and other criteria. There is also keyword search, which lets you look for specific interests, professions, or characteristics. I actually prefer this approach for serious dating because you can narrow thousands of profiles down to women who fit what you are looking for.

Communication works differently from regular dating apps. LoveMe uses its Express Mail correspondence system, with translation included, and you can also arrange translated phone calls and virtual video calls. After the required IMBRA process, personal contact information can also be exchanged.

Beyond messaging, your account connects you with LoveMe’s bigger agency services. You can explore singles tours, individual tours, social events, gift delivery, matchmaking, translation, and travel-related services.

My opinion? The technology is definitely not LoveMe’s strongest point. I would love to see the entire website redesigned for 2026.

How Does LoveMe’s Matchmaking Service Actually Work?

LoveMe’s matchmaking is more hands-on than its regular dating service. Instead of searching thousands of profiles alone, you can work with the A Foreign Affair matchmaking team. You tell them what kind of woman you want to meet, your preferred region, and your relationship goals. They can then recommend women and help move suitable introductions toward video calls or face-to-face meetings.

There are different levels of help available. The Singles Clubs are designed for men who travel independently and want local matchmakers to arrange individual introductions. The much more intensive option is the Executive Plan, where you receive a personal consultant and a structured matchmaking process.

With the Executive Plan, LoveMe evaluates your preferences and personality, searches through its network, interviews potential matches, and narrows the selection. The current program aims to arrange personal meetings with roughly eight to ten selected women. It is a serious service with a serious price, currently $20,000 for one region, with travel and related expenses paid separately.

My opinion? This part of LoveMe makes much more sense to me than spending months buying letters. If I were a man paying for international matchmaking, I would want the agency actively involved in getting me to real women and real dates.

But $20,000 is substantial money, and matchmaking cannot manufacture chemistry. LoveMe itself does not guarantee that a particular woman will be interested or that an introduction will become a relationship.

I would consider this service only if you have the budget, are genuinely ready to travel, and want professional help getting to actual meetings. Otherwise, the regular Singles Club or tour options may be a more sensible place to start.

A Foreign Affair's Executive Plan

The Executive Plan is A Foreign Affair’s premium matchmaking service, and I see it as something very different from simply joining LoveMe.com and browsing profiles yourself.

This option is designed for men who are serious about international dating and want much more personal involvement from the agency. Instead of searching through hundreds of women and managing everything alone, you work directly with the A Foreign Affair team. They learn about your personality, lifestyle, relationship goals, and the type of woman you genuinely hope to meet.

What I like about this approach is the focus on personal introductions rather than endless online correspondence. The team helps identify potential matches and coordinates introductions, with the goal of getting you in front of compatible women in real life.

Of course, this level of matchmaking comes at a substantial price. I would never suggest choosing the Executive Plan simply because you are frustrated with dating apps or want someone else to find you a wife.

For me, it makes sense for a very specific man: you have the budget, you know what you want, you are ready to travel, and you genuinely want professional help arranging real introductions.

That last part matters most to me. In international dating, I would rather see a man invest in meeting women than spend months paying for romantic letters that never leave his computer.

My Review of LoveMe.com Romance Tours

If there is one part of A Foreign Affair I genuinely find interesting, it is the Romance Tours (read more: A Foreign Affair Romance Tour Review: Is It Worth It?). I have written about these trips separately because they solve one of my biggest problems with international dating: men spending months paying for online communication without ever meeting the woman.

AFA organizes trips across Latin America, Asia, and Europe. Destinations have included Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, the Philippines, Thailand, China, and Ukraine. Current Latin American trips include cities such as Medellín and Cartagena, alongside Costa Rica and Peru.

These aren’t simply vacations with dating added afterward. Depending on the package, AFA can arrange your hotel, airport transfers, organized socials, introductions, interpreters, and assistance with individual dates. There are traditional group tours as well as Individual Club Tours for men who prefer something more flexible and personal.

ukraine romance tour

Pricing varies considerably. Individual Club Tour services have traditionally started around $1,095 for seven days, while organized Romance Tours can cost roughly $1,400 to $5,000, depending on the destination, duration, accommodation, and what is included. Current Latin American group tours, for example, can run from around $1,995 for seven days to $3,500 or more for longer packages.

This is actually where my opinion of LoveMe becomes much more positive.

I would rather see you spend money meeting ten women in person than writing hundreds of paid letters to ten women. Chemistry is incredibly difficult to judge online. One coffee together can tell you more than weeks of romantic correspondence.

That is why, if you are serious about using A Foreign Affair and can afford the travel, I recommend looking at the Romance Tours before becoming too invested in online communication. The real value of this agency, in my opinion, is not the website. It is their ability to get you into the same room with women you might genuinely want to date.

Need Help? Here’s How to Contact LoveMe.com

LoveMe.com offers several ways to contact its customer service team if you have questions about your account, communication services, billing, tours, or matchmaking.

Customer support is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST, excluding major holidays. You can contact the team directly by phone or submit your question through the contact form on the website.

There is also a fairly extensive General FAQ section. I would actually check this first for basic questions about membership, correspondence, tours, payments, or using the site. You may find your answer without waiting for support.

Personally, I consider accessible customer service particularly important with an agency like A Foreign Affair. You are potentially paying for much more than a dating profile, especially if you book calls, matchmaking, or international travel.

How Do You Delete Your LoveMe.com Account?

If you decide LoveMe.com isn’t for you anymore, you can request to delete your account through the website. The process is fairly straightforward, but I would also check whether you have an active Platinum Membership before closing everything.

  • Open the Account Deletion page: Sign in to your LoveMe.com account and go to the account deletion section.
  • Confirm your password: You’ll need to enter your password to verify that you own the account.
  • Choose your reason: LoveMe asks why you want to close your account.
  • Confirm the deletion: Follow the instructions shown on the page to complete your request.
  • Use the available guide: LoveMe provides additional instructions with screenshots if you get stuck.
  • Check your Platinum Membership: If you’re paying the monthly membership fee, make sure the recurring subscription is also cancelled.
  • Review your personal data: Check LoveMe’s privacy terms if you also want to understand how your stored information is handled after account closure.

Personally, I would save any important correspondence and check for unused account credit before deleting the profile.

Can You Trust LoveMe.com With Your Personal Information?

Security matters even more with international dating because you are sharing personal information with both the platform and potential matches. LoveMe.com explains through its privacy policy what information it collects and how that information is used when you register and use its services.

The site also gives members some control over the information they provide. You can use additional features, participate in surveys, and subscribe to communications while your personal data remains subject to the company’s privacy practices.

Still, I would never describe any dating website as “completely safe.” That is simply too strong a promise. A privacy policy protects you differently from profile verification, and neither can guarantee that every person you meet has honest intentions.

My approach is practical. Give LoveMe only the information it needs, use a separate email address for dating, and never share sensitive financial information with someone you meet online.

For me, security is not something you outsource entirely to a dating agency. LoveMe has responsibilities, but you still need to protect yourself.

How Does LoveMe.com Protect You From Dating Scams?

LoveMe.com has an anti-scam policy that specifically prohibits women from asking members for money or gifts. If someone you meet through the service starts requesting financial help, I would treat that as a serious warning sign and report it immediately.

The agency also uses profile screening and identity verification as part of its approach to reducing fraudulent accounts. Members can report suspicious behavior, and LoveMe says complaints are investigated by its staff.

What I appreciate is that A Foreign Affair has been operating in international dating for decades. They know the usual scam patterns, from money requests to suspicious correspondence and questionable intentions.

But I want to be careful here. An anti-scam policy does not make any dating site scam-proof. Verification can confirm someone’s identity, but it cannot confirm her feelings, intentions, or genuine interest in you.

My advice is simple: use LoveMe’s security measures, but keep your own standards. Move toward phone calls, video, and real meetings instead of judging authenticity by romantic letters. In my experience, real progress tells you far more than any verification badge.

My Verdict: Would I Recommend LoveMe.com in 2026?

After testing LoveMe.com, I can recommend it, but mainly to men who are serious about meeting women in person.

What I liked most was the variety of ways to move beyond online correspondence. The detailed search is useful, profiles contain plenty of information, and A Foreign Affair offers video calls, translators, matchmaking, Singles Clubs, and Romance Tours. I also value the company’s long history in international dating.

What I didn’t like is the outdated website and, more importantly, the pricing structure. Letters, translated calls, membership, gifts, and other services can become expensive quickly. You need a clear dating strategy before you start spending.

Personally, I would not use LoveMe.com for months of romantic correspondence. I would use it to find compatible women, establish initial contact, move to video, and arrange a real meeting.

That is where I believe LoveMe offers its greatest value. Use it as a bridge to meeting someone, not as a place to remain indefinitely.

  1. Loveme has been a great agency for me. Everything that they advertise is true. I definitely got more than what I bargained for. Their tours are great. It’s definitely worth coming on the trip.

  2. I am sorry, but I don’t trust this website. Many fake profiles and even porn actress. Something interesting is that they created another websites to have a virgin reputation, with the same profiles …the same owner and the same team. When you are honest you hide nothing. Some profiles are double used, strange to see a woman with the same pictures but a different name. If you look the website now you would notice that almost all the women have a 90D…??? This is serious? The team answer your calls but never find you a real situation. Once they removed a scam profile after I requested assistance, but they put it again online one week later…

  3. There is evidence of profiles that i deem as fake profile or technically real women who are not serious about relations as I personally spent the money to activate something called premium communication on Dream Singles website its over 1200 usd and the girl mysteriously disappears and i found her and other similiar profiles on this website im seeing double profiles that i dont trust at all. I will see if I can do a trip as recommended as I want a real meeting im so tired of these scam websites seriously I’ve spent too much in terms of time and money, im at the point of just fly blind to Europe and just look for my special lady out there be much cheaper then give more .key to these scam sites.

  4. I spent over $3000 in correspondence fees and then the lady dumped me after seven months of writing. Each letter (one-way) costs $10 and to open any photos, it is an additional $3.50. The lady wrote often and always sent lots of photos. I could have gone broke if this had continued.

  5. PLEASE dont use this company!!! Im serious I joined them because I wanted find a real partner and maybe finally be happy with someone. I trusted what they told me. But month after month pass and NOTHING was right. Only stress anger and feeling like fool

It become so bad I was ready to sue them. I had my case. I had legal people ready. I was not joking anymore!!! Then just before everything go to court they suddenly accept there was big problems with there claims and give me ALL my money back.

Why only now??? Why after months??? Why when legal action was ready???

For me this say A LOT. I feel they didnt want there business looked at too closely in court. Maybe there is more things hidden I dont know. I can only say what happen to me but I dont trust them not even 1%.

Yes I got my money back But what about my time??? My nerves??? The hope they give me and then destroy??? Money dont fix all this

Just stay away PLEASE. They was not who I believed they are and I wish somebody warned me before!!!

  6. I feel so angry and stupid after using A Foreign Affair also called LoveMe and Manila-Women I really believed I was writing to the beautiful woman in the profile. The photos looked real and there was even video… so why would I not believe it???

But after some time the messages started feeling wrong. They came every day sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Always sweet words always new questions always something to make me reply AGAIN. It felt like staff or interpreters was writing with her information and not the woman herself

Then more photos arrive and of course I must PAY to open them One message becomes another and another… and suddenly you already spent so much money. They know how to make a lonely man feel wanted and this is what hurts the most!!!

Maybe not every woman is part of this. I cant say that. But with the most attractive profiles I really felt somebody else was behind the messages.

Please please be careful If she answers too fast and wants you writing 3 times every day dont just think its love!!! Make sure you know WHO you are really talking too before spending another penny. I wish I understood this sooner.

  7. I traveled in many places around the world but meeting Filipina women was something special for me ❤️ Thats honestly all I can say.

From what I experienced the age difference didnt seem such a BIG problem in the Philippines like it can be in other countries. The women I met in Cebu seemed more interested in the connection and finding a real partner then only looking at age.

AFA gave me the chance to meet many women in person. You still need to travel and show up of course ✈️ I used there service myself and everything was organised very well. For me it was one of the better dating services I tried
